Japanese industrial designer Ryosuke Fukusada studied and worked in Milan, spending four years as assistant designer to Patricia Urquiola before setting up his own design studio in Japan. Collaborating with Rui Pereira, a Milan-based Portuguese industrial designer, the duo created Faro, a mini fireplace with an ethanol burner that can be used both indoors and out.
